Edible x-mas gifts

by Klaraslife 14. December 2016

This post is also available in german/deutsch.Every year I ask myself the same question. What should I give? Since most have everything, I’ve thought about something else this year. Homemade and edible x-mas gifts. As love goes through the stomach, I find these gifts particularly beautiful and very personal. To make the decor easy I have created for you Freebies as Christmas labels. Simply cut or punch and hang or hang on the homemade gifts, done!Edible x-mas gifts

SPECULATIUS LIQUEUR

100 g of spice speculum
A teaspoon of cinnamon
200 g vegan cream (made from oat milk)
300 g oat milk
150 g of white rum

Mix the coconut blossom sugar, the spice speculum and the cinnamon in the blender at the highest level about 1 minute. It should be a dusty mass. Now heat up with the cream and the milk on a small scale for about ten minutes, but do not let it boil over. Now add the white rum, mix everything in the blender, if you like at more milk or white rum and fill in (boiling) hotly flushed bottles. Carefully do not burn your fingers. The liqueur tastes pure or easy to give over vanilla ice cream.Edible x-mas gifts

GINGERBREAD GRANOLA

200 g oats
100 g buckwheat
100 g hazelnuts, roughly chopped
100 g almond, roughly chopped
60 g pumpkin seeds
10 g of coconut flakes

4 tablespoons of maple syrup
4 tablespoons of water
1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
1 tbsp gingerbread spice, ground
pinch of salt
handful goji beeries

Place a baking tray with parchment paper. In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients, then add the liquid ingredients and mix well. Now spread on the plate and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes, stir a few times so that nothing burned. Add the coconut flakes 5 minutes before the end.
Allow the granola to cool and add goji berries , fill in glasses and decorate with the labels.Edible x-mas gifts
