Today I made delicious and healthy buckwheat apple waffles with sweet caramel sauce and chopped strawberries. If you don´t have strawberries you can use raspberries or blueberries too.
These buckwheat apple waffles are:
- without white sugar
130 g buckwheat flour
130 g wheat flour
3 tbsp coconut sugar
400 ml of oat milk
2 tbsp of vegetable oil or coconut oil
2 tbsp of ground flaxseed
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 apple, peeled and cut into small cubes
Add all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix it.
Add oat milk, oil and apple cubes and mix to a homogeneous dough. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
Turn on waffle iron and bake waffles.
Serve with caramel sauce and fresh strawberries.
Buckwheat apple Waffles with caramel sauce
- 130 g buckwheat flour
