To round off our holiday feeling at home, there is our delicious Baked ziti recipe with tofu bolognese. We combine our oven pasta with tofu bolognese, ricotta, mozzarella and montello cheese and not to forget a lot of fresh basil.


WHAT YOU NEED FOR PASTA AL FORNO!
- short pasta. Rigatoni, Penne, Ziti, Tortiglioni are best suited.
- minced tofu, it’s best to choose your favorite variety
- passata
- ricotta
- mozzarella
- montello, vegetarian parmesan
- cinnamon comes in pretty much every dish with us. Gives hearty dishes a great flavor.
Baked ziti recipe with tofu bolognese
250 g pasta (rigatoni, ziti, penne, maccheroni)
1 onion
1 garlic
200 g tofu, mince
2 tbsp tomato paste
black pepper from the mill
1/2 tsp cinnamon
660 ml of passata
90 g ricotta or vegan option
90 g mozzarella, grated / shredded or vegan option
50 g Montello cheese, grated (vegetarian parmesan)
Cook pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Drain and collect some pasta water (50-100 ml).
Fry the onion and garlic in oil. Add the tofu mince and cinnamon, roast and pepper.
Now add tomato paste and fry as well.
Deglaze with pasta water. Then stir in the passata and ricotta. Simmer for 5 minutes and season with salt.
Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Add the pasta to the sauce and mix well.
Place in a large baking dish and sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. (The baking time may vary depending on the oven)
Serve with plenty of basil and a delicious salad.
