Oh yes Overnight Oats are just damn good! Who does not know it. This is not cooked “porridge” oh it tastes super delicious. Mix oatmeal with liquid (milk) and other ingredients and leave it in the fridge overnight. The next morning you will have an “oat pudding”. Super cool and you save time. I usually add a shot of milk, which makes the texture even creamier and tastier. I have for you today 3 classic overnight oat recipes you must necessarily try.
I have already made an Apple Pie Smoothie and the taste is simply my favorite. Creamy and refreshing.
- 60 g rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg and salt
- 45 g of yoghurt (soy or Greek yoghurt)
- 140 ml oat milk
- 1/4 grated apple
- lemon zest
Mix well all ingredients in a mason jar and leave overnight.
Banana Chocolate
The taste is reminiscent of Banana Split and Ramin particularly likes this variety.
- 60 g rolled oats
- 45 g of yoghurt (soy or Greek)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 150 ml oat or rice milk
- 1 chopped ripe banana
- 1 tbsp Chocolate drops
- Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Mix all ingredients well and leave overnight in a mason jar.
If you love coconut you will love these Overnight Oats.
- 60 g rolled oats
- 20 g of coconut rasps
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp coconut yoghurt
- 130 ml of coconut milk
- pinch of salt
Mix well all ingredients in a mason jar and leave overnight. In the morning serve with chocolate and coconut flakes sprinkled.
