This post is also available in german/deutsch.Summer is hot this year and we can’t get enough of homemade iced tea, kombucha and water kefir! I (Kathrin) are very enthusiastic about iced tea. And the homemade variant is also healthier, more versatile and contains less sugar. Something new had to be tried after our yummy peach iced tea. Raspberry iced tea.
What do you need!
- Black tea, preferably from our favorite brand
- Raspberries, fresh or frozen
- sugar
- Glass bottles
- mesh strainer
Raspberry iced tea
syrup
150 g raspberries, fresh or frozen goods
300 ml water
3-4 tablespoons of sugar
optional: vanilla, cinnamon stick
Iced tea
700 ml of water, cold
2 tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose black tea
syrup
Put the raspberries, sugar and water in a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes until the raspberries crumble. Pour into a bottle through a sieve and let cool. Then put in the fridge.

Place the tea in a bottle (with strainer insert) or a jug and fill with cold water. Put in the fridge and let steep for at least 12 hours.
The next day
Sieve the tea and mix with the raspberry syrup.
Spread the ice cubes in glasses and add the raspberry iced tea.
Enjoys it!
