INGREDIENTS FOR MATCHA ICE CREAM WITH CARAMEL CHUNKS
250 ml of milk
350 ml whipped cream
3 tbsp sugar
3 teaspoons matcha powder
5 soft caramel candies (e.g. Soft Muh Muhs)
pinch of salt
METHOD
Heat the milk, add Matcha powder and mix with the whisk. Set aside and let cool.
Whip the cream.
Mix cream and milk, add pinch of salt and pour ice cream into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions. At the end, fold in chopped caramel candies. Transfer to freezer-proof container and allow to harden for at least 6 hours. Then serve!
