This post is also available in german/deutsch.Crunchy homemade nut granola with nuts, healthy seeds and delicious vanilla. The perfect breakfast for the morning, best served with your favorite milk or with yoghurt and fresh fruit or berries.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR A GRANOLA?

  1. The base is usually  rolled oats (also gluten-free) or spelt flakes.
  2. Different nuts: I always like to use almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews, “coconut”
  3. Seeds e.g. sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame, chia seeds, poppy seeds.
  4. Spices like cinnamon, vanilla, tonka bean, turmeric …
  5. Oil: coconut oil is the most suitable
  6. Sweeteners must not be missing: maple syrup, rice syrup, date syrup or agave syrup.
  7. dried fruits maybe there are: raisins, dates, apricots, figs, mango, physalis …
