Due the dried cherries, the Energy Balls get a slightly tingling touch that is reminiscent of shower sticks. I love sour and some bitter ingredients, because I prefer sometimes to pickles than to the chocolates. It should not be too sweet for me. And if there’s lemon in there, you’ve already got 90% on my side, hehe.

Cherry Energy Balls
Ingredients
- 60 g of almonds
- 15 g of pistachios
- 100 g dried sour cherries see note *
- 50 g dates
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla pulp
- 2 tbsp water
Rolling
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- Add nuts in a food processor and grind roughly.
- Add cherries, dates and vanilla and pulse. Then mix at level 2, mix until a homogeneous and sticky mixture is formed.
- If necessary, add 2 tablespoons of water.
- Form into balls and roll in sesame.
- Keep the Energy Balls in a tin or glass in the fridge.
