Tomato and sunflower seed Spread
Ingredients
- 125 g sun dried tomatoes soaked in water 20 min
- 135 g sunflower seeds soaked in water 20 min
- 1 handful basil leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp water
- salt + fresh pepper
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth. If needed add more water.
- Pour in a glass jar and keeps in the fridge for about 5 days.

The recipe is super easy to make! And it tastes delicious too. You can feel the aroma of the basil and the tomato, it goes so well together! The consistency is not completely smooth but that could be because I used an immersion blender instead of a food processor. Still, it’s a delicious bread spread. Thank you!
