I love coffee !! Not as a wake-up agent, but simply because I like the taste. With milk or without – or even Affogato al caffè – Italian ice coffee …. The best cooling in these hot southern temperatures. Classically it is eaten with a vanilla ice-cream but feel free to use your favorite variety. Milk ice creams are best suited for varieties such as chocolate, walnut, hazelnut, stracciatella or cinnamon. Also in vegan variant.
HOW TO ENJOY THE SUMMER DRINK CORRECTLY
It is hot outside and what should not be missing at such temperatures! Exactly a cool summer drink. And the great thing about this drink is you do not have to do without your beloved coffee. The answer is iced coffee rather Affogato al caffè – Italian ice coffee.
The preparation is super easy and is then simply eaten with a spoon from the cup. Heavenly.
AFFOGATO AL CAFFÈ – ITALIAN ICE COFFEE
INGREDIENTS LIST FOR AFFOGATO AL CAFFÈ – ITALIAN ICE CREAM 2 PEOPLE
1 scoop of vanilla chocolate biscuits ice cream or ice of your choice eg. Vanilla, chocolate, nut
1 cup of coffee, cooled
2-3 ice cubes
METHOD:
Per person put one scoop of ice cream in a chilled glass and pour the coffee over it. Add ice cubes and ready!
