I’m a big fan of homemade bread spread. Whether sweet or savory. This dried tomato spread fits perfect to fresh baked bread and for your sandwiches.Taste delicious to spelt bread or with potatoes and few greens like cucumber, tomatoes and olives.If you try this recipe, let us know! - 125 g sun dried tomatoes, soaked in water 20 min
- 135 g sunflower seeds, soaked in water 20 min
- 1 handful basil leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp water
- salt + fresh pepper
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth. If needed add more water.
- Pour in a glass jar and keeps in the fridge for about 5 days.
