Italian Pasta Salad – Summer in Italy

italian pasta saladThis post is also available in german/deutsch.Today I feel like something light and delicious that is not too heavy in the stomach. The inspiration today is smells reminiscent of Italy and the colors green, white and red.

Italian Pasta Salad

Why?
Because I want to make such a really easy kitchen, with some aromatics, nothing too powerful but with depth.I also had a lot of fully ripe tomatoes in the house. But a hot tomato sauce with hot noodles in the hot summer temperatures. No, I thought of something better.

Ingredients for the sauce:

Sherry vinegar, olive oil, white wine, rice syrup, sea salt, black pepper

Ingredients list for Italian Pasta Salad:

Cooking 100g noodles al dente (girandole), 4 ripe and tasty tomatoes, skinned and seeded, 2 cloves of garlic, 150g frozen peas, 150g canned white beans, 50g pitted olives, 30g of fresh basil, 5g fresh thyme, Pepper, olive oil

Instructions:

Squeeze the garlic and brown with the chopped thyme in about 3 tablespoons of olive oil, pepper, then add the peeled and sliced ​​tomatoes, the pitted and chopped olives and the thawed peas and beans. Remove from heat. Mix together with the pasta in a separate bowl with a little spring onion and basil decorate / refine.
Beat the whole with the sauce and serve.

Oh and ready is the delicious, light and very tasty summer dish.
