Berlin Weekend with Sistermag & Noodle Soup

Hello lovelies, Do you know the feeling of happiness? I have the feeling, If I always remember to my childhood. I have only good memories to this part of my life. We, call my brother, dad, mom, grandma and grandpa + a lot of animals, like rabbits, dogs, cats, guinea pig, fish, hamster, turtles and a horse, live in a big house. All together! To life so close with your grandparents it`s such a great time. I have loved it. I take breakfast with both and I helped my grandma in the kitchen and in the garden. And we had a tradition. After each vacation whether summer or winter. We have eaten the super delicious noodle soup from my granny. The soup was very simple but it was the best part of the vacation to come home and eat this soup! We were always a large group (12 people) and everyone has been looking forward to her Noodle Soup. I often tried to imitate, but it´s always something missing. Perhaps her love or the taste of coming home. Do you know that? Sometimes it tastes even better If someone else prepared it. Maybe too much emotions. And so I made my own version.

Noodle Soup and Weekend Happiness

Ingredients

  • Vegetable broth:
  • 3 carrots half
  • 1 onion half with peel
  • 2 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/2 celery tuber chopped
  • 1 leek quartered
  • 5 parsley springs
  • 2 rosemary springs
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 juniper berries
  • piece ginger sliced
  • Soup:
  • noodles I use pumpkin noodles
  • parsley

Instructions

  • Place all broth ingredients in a large pan, cover with water + more and bring to the boil over high heat. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Remove from heat and strain. Keep vegetables.
  • Cook the pasta according to package indication. Cut vegetables into thin slices. Garnish noodle and vegetables in a bowl and pour the hot broth.
  • Top with parsley and gomashio ( sesame salt)

Last weekend I was in Berlin with the topic “Respect for Food”. Together with my lovely IG friend Lynn . Sistermag, Grundig and Schott Ceran have invited. 3 family companies. But all in other ways.

The sisterMAG is the idea of the sisters Antonia (Toni) Sutter and Theresa (Thea) Neubauer. After a successful start, the two decided together with Tonis man Alex to continue the sisterMAG and founded in January 2013, Publisher Carry-On Publishing. which publishes the sisterMAG until today. A true family business that a lot of passion and love put into their beautiful work.




The roots of the Grundig Intermedia GmbH is founded in 1945 in Germany, employing Grundig, which has gained with radios and televisions worldwide fame. The Radio dealer Max Grundig recognized the signs of the times and built his first two own devices: the tube tester Tubatest and the meter Novatest.
