Pesto Twist Bread
All know the sweet twist bread, today we have chosen a hearty version of the popular pastry. Pesto Twist Bread. This bread goes well with Easter.

spelt flour

of green pesto
bought or homemade

of soy milk or 1 whisked egg
Instructions
Lay out a box tin with baking paper.

Place the flour, salt and dried yeast in a mixing bowl and stir. Add water and oil and knead with kneading for 5 minutes to a smooth dough.
Cover and leave in a warm place for 60 minutes or until the volume has doubled.
Briefly knead the dough and roll it into a rectangle on a floured work surface.
Pesto
Brush with pesto and roll up from the long side.
Cut lengthwise with a sharp knife and twist the strands into each other. (see image)
Put the braid in the box mold and let it go covered again for 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Brush with soy milk or whisked egg.
Bake the pesto bread for 35-40 minutes.
Notes
You can use for the whole bread all purpose flour!
