Enjoy this delicious and moist orange almond cake
all purpose flour
blanched ground almonds
mix of blood orange, mandarin and orange
Abrasion of a organic Orange
cold oat cream / soy cream / whipped cream
optional: 1 tbsp sugar
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Grease a cake pan and dust with flour.
Mix the flour, ground almond, baking powder, orange peel and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Add oil, orange juice, baking soda and vinegar and mix quickly. Don`t over mix!
Place the dough in the cake pan and bake for 40 minutes. (Make a toothpick sample) If you still have some dough on in, bake for another few minutes until it's done.
Let cool in the baking pan for 10 minutes and then allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
Beat the cold cream with sugar and spread the cake over it or decorate it with a piping bag.
Garnish with some grated orange peel.
